Pi Kapp Show

The Pi Kapp show originated in 1932 when Kappa Sigma Delta began producing minstrel shows.  The show evolved into a fully produced and choreographed musical comedy. In 1942, production stopped during the war years and then started up again in the Winter term of 1947 with the production of "Graduation or Bust". The brothers quickly followed up with another production the following Fall term called "Poise & Ivy" and then settled in to an annual production until the early 70's. Thanks to Brother Jack Stoner, who was the musical director for several of the shows, we have original programs, scripts and the scores that were written for the shows produced in the late 40's and early 50's. They have been scanned into pdf files and are listed below by show.

The fraternity movement began in 1776 when Thomas Jefferson formed a literary and political society with his closest friends at The College of William and Mary, and has been closely intertwined with the American experience ever since.

More than 250 years of leaders, scholars, athletes, citizens, and stewards have been shaped and built by the fraternity experience, and Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity is proud to be a leading member of that legacy.

Founded as Nu Phi (the non-fraternity) in Charleston, South Carolina at the turn of the 20th Century, we have grown from humble beginnings based in friendship and trust to a nationwide brotherhood of more than 80,000 men, living and leading in every state and community in our Union.
